This year in 4th grade art...

Students will be taking a trip "Around the World with Art."
We will be exploring different coutries and the art and artists that came from those countries.
1st 6 weeks:
    France - Still life, Fauvism, landscapes, Realism, Vlaminck, Fragonard, Cezanne, Impressionism
2nd 6 weeks:
    Belgium - Pissaro, Pointillism
    England - Turner, seascapes
    America - illustrations, Miller
3rd 6 weeks:
    Italy - Da Vinci, Michelangelo, portraiture
    Greece - pottery
4th 6 weeks:
    Russia - Chagall, Surrealism, Expressionism, scratch-art, Kandinsky
    Africa - cultural art: masks, hieroglyphics
5th 6 weeks:
    Spain - Picasso, Cubism
    China - watercolor
6th 6 weeks:
    Mexico - Kahlo, Rivera, mural
